These terms govern your use of getcardfolio.app (the “site”), the Cardfolio waitlist, and the Cardfolio app. By joining the waitlist or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Using the Cardfolio app
Cardfolio is a tool for organizing, valuing, and showcasing your own trading-card collection. You agree to use it only for lawful, personal purposes and not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app or the third-party services it relies on.
Your data is stored on your device. Cardfolio does not currently back up or sync your collection to the cloud. Deleting the app, signing out, erasing the app’s data, or losing the device will remove your collection, and we cannot recover it for you. You are responsible for keeping your own records of anything important.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist grants Cardfolio permission to email you about the launch of the Cardfolio app, beta invitations, and related product updates. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee you a beta invitation, a launch invitation, or access to the app, and it does not create any payment or purchase obligation.
Unsubscribing
You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by emailing davis@getcardfolio.app from the address you signed up with. We will delete your record within 30 days, and typically far sooner.
Informational content, not financial advice
Cardfolio is a tool for organizing and showcasing a personal trading-card collection. Any pricing data, market estimates, opportunity scores, or value indicators shown on the site, in marketing materials, or eventually inside the app are informational only. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Trading cards are a volatile collectibles market; values can move sharply and unpredictably.
You are solely responsible for any buying, selling, or investment decisions you make. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional where appropriate.
No warranty
The site and any content on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of opportunity estimates, comp prices, market data, or any other figure displayed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardfolio disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardfolio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, the waitlist, or any reliance on content presented here.
Acceptable use
Do not submit email addresses you do not own or control. Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the site or its backend. Do not use the site to send unsolicited communications or to violate any law.
Intellectual property
The Cardfolio name, logo, copy, design, and code are owned by Cardfolio. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission. Card images, brand names, and trademarks shown for illustrative purposes belong to their respective owners.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under or related to these terms will be resolved exclusively in U.S. courts of competent jurisdiction.
